Our founder and our team are very aware of the crisis our planet faces from irresponsible textile and fashion players. Landfills languish with new or gently worn pieces that didn’t live as long as they should, in the culture of fast fashion they were born into. Oceans are being polluted with waste and effluents from the breakdown of fashion by-products. We could not be part of this problem. So, we searched for a solution in the form of fabrics that turn every user into an eco-warrior.

One of them is the innovative Amni Soul Eco® fabric—the world’s first biodegradable polyamide yarn. Its composition ensures that it breaks down speedily in anaerobic landfill conditions, allowing bacteria to access and digest the material quickly. It also speeds up the breakdown of microplastics released when the garment is washed. This yarn is eliminated from the planet in three to five years, unlike regular textiles that take decades to decompose. And when it finally decomposes, it transforms into organic biomass and biogas that can be reused as resources to the generation of electricity and more.
